There are four things that are of the upmost importance to know. The first is that the Doctor is an Omega for the first time in several regenerations, and was suffering through her first heat. The second is that humans who spend time around natural-born Alphas in ruts or Omegas in heats can evolve to have a designation, and Yasmin Khan had firmly and decisively evolved into an Alpha. The third is that the Master is also an Alpha; an Alpha who would destroy entire star systems just for one night alone with the Doctor. And the fourth... was that the Doctor would much rather risk losing everything then force herself to choose.

Summary
After defeating the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Master, and Time’s prophecy all in one go, the Doctor feels like she has a whole new lease on life. But when Yaz, traumatized by the forced regeneration and her time as the Master's unwilling companion, decides to leave the TARDIS for good, the Doctor is sent into an emotional spiral. And things only get worse from there when she’s attacked by a stranger with an oddly personal vendetta against her.
Worried that she’s just met a new incarnation of the Master - and never one to make rational decisions when she’s on her own - the Doctor decides that her best option is to save her version of the Master from his fate. Before the two of them can resume their bitter feud, however, they're attacked by the same mysterious figure from before. Sensing that they have a long fight ahead of them, the pair decides to stand together against this new threat.
What follows will put their infinitely complex bond to the test as they find themselves caught in a web of all the secrets and lies that have come to light since the discovery of the Division and the real origins of the Time Lords…

"I’ll go get you some dirt, Marillo Seven’s got some that’s got just the nutrients that you’ll need. It’ll be more efficient than cooking you a meal.”
The Master rather didn’t want to eat dirt, however much the Doctor might sing its virtues as the fastest way to get necessary nutrients in an emergency. She could be ruthlessly practical at times, for all her whimsy at others.
When she was nearly at the door the Master decided that not folding wasn’t as important as not eating dirt.
